Ep. 7: CHRISTMAS

Welcome to another episode of BTB! Today we get into the holiday spirit with some more lighthearted content. We're talking about some of the NBA matchups this Christmas, our favorite Christmas music, and discuss the biggest debate in holiday history...is Die Hard a Christmas movie? 
We'll be taking a break the week in between Christmas and New Year's because of time constraints and giving ourselves a little rest and we hope you do the same. See you in the new year!

Welcome to another episode of Beyond the Basslines?! Today we talk about rivalries, so it is admittedly a little heavier on the sports side. From Red Sox and Yankees to Frazier and Ali, we've got the good ones. We also throw in some unexpected rock rivalries you may have not heard of.

Hello again, baserunners! (Is that clever? Probably not) Today we delve into athletes and musicians who are, or are at least regarded as to being above the law. So, they did some bad things and didn't pay for it. From Tom Wilson to Tonya Harding, and Phil Spector to Led Zeppelin, we only touched on a fraction of the criminal activity within sports and music.

Hello everyone, we've got another episode of BTB for you! In this episode we talk about strange and untimely deaths of athletes and musicians. All the way from John Lennon to the Humboldt Broncos.

Welcome to another installment of Beyond the Baselines! This is a special episode, unusually dropped in the middle of the week in honor of Thanksgiving! For the special holiday, we discuss the annual Thanksgiving football game, and peaceful political protests within the NFL. We also delve into peaceful protests through rock music that has withstood the test of time.

Hello! This is the very first episode of Beyond the Baselines (or Basslines). We don't know how it's spelled. This is a podcast about where rock 'n roll music and sports collide, as told by two 20-something women with deep interest in these two communities, not typically geared toward us.
This episode we introduce ourselves and dive right in, talking about the Bohemian Rhapsody and how it handled AIDS and then some prominent athletes who dealt with the disease.
